December 2010 - Winter Weather

For the past few months I have been rediscovering screenprinting, my first love. Now, as we endure the worst December weather since records began, screenprinting had to stop. An essential part of the process is cleaning the screen after use with a pressure washer.

With temperatures below freezing our outside pipes are frozen and I can't use the washer. For the time being my work is in drypoint and I have really enjoyed it. See 'Heron' and 'Darter' under Galleries>New Works.
